It is twenty-five minutes away from London by train and is a 25-minutes’ drive from Heathrow airport. The historic towns of Oxford, Windsor, are also not too far.

4. Does a student need IELTS or English to join at the Oxford college of education?
International student who wants to join us For English course they do not require any IELTS or English Certificate. We will take interview before issue a visa letter and our teacher will take the assessment test after enrolment to identify which group, they can join and if needed we will do a few 1 on 1 classes.

Diploma Courses: It must be blended. You can register for a course and finish 50% or more online, and the rest you can finish on campus, but it has to be finished within 6 months or less. If you still need to submit all your work or assignments, you can do by email or our online portal.

7. Can an international student come to the campus to study diploma or short courses?
Yes – We can issue a Visa letter for up to 6 months for a short course (Student must apply for the Visa and they will be only allowed to enrol for the face-to-face class if they received visa)

No, but we are working closely with many universities so that if any of our students who would like to join directly to the university for undergraduate or postgraduate courses, then we can assist them in getting enrolled, we can also help them to achieve a scholarship. 11. How many hours a week does the student need to attend a class?
Full time Student: 18/20 hours per week including face to face and online.
English:
Candidate must sit for the final exam with the board:
IELTS – British Council
IGCSE – EDEXCEL
A LEVEL – EDEXCEL
Short Course /Foundation /Diploma: Thoroughly 100% assignments
13. Will the student get a certificate after finishing the course?
Every student will get a certificate; it depends on the course.
Example: A student who has joined for three weeks on the English course, then he/she will get a class attendance certificate, transcripts, and an internal certificate.
A student who has joined for 11 months on the IELTS preparation course, then he/she will need to sit the exam, and they will receive a certificate from the British Council with the results.
A student who has joined for a level 3 to 7 Diploma course (online) and at the end of the course has submitted all assignments, then assessor will assess the work and internal verifier will check and send the awarding body and a certificate will be awarded from the external awarding body if they have passed.

20. How much will the student have to pay?
An international student should pay in full before receiving final VISA letter.
However, student can pay 50% before VISA letter and 50 % after visa but need to clear the full payment before fly.

NO – We are not a tier 4 College. Therefore, we do not issue a CAS number, BUT we are authorised to issue a VISA letter for a short term-study visa, up to 11 months for English. We are ASIC accredited college.

However, the College will help to find the accommodation nearby after confirming student received visa. Students can pay accommodation fees direct to the landlord /estate agent /hostel /hotel.
In case student unable to book their accommodation, college can certainly help on behalf of the student if the student fills our accommodation form and return to us with fees.

33. Why oxford college of education asking so many forms and declaration?
To help us to find out student intention and plan. Also, we want to make sure that students/agents know the college and UK rules and regulations. We want to make sure that students are not misguided by the agents or anyone else. Therefore, we ask a student to send back to us:
-Duly filled application form signed and dated after reading the terms and conditions, refund policy,
-All students must return the last page of the conditional offer letter after reading all pages and conditions if they are happy to process further.
-All students must return the Visa draft letter after they read and sign to make sure they understand everything, and everything is correct.
-If the student coming via agent must fill out the student survey form before asking for the final visa letter.

38. Can a student do a BA/MBA top up?
Yes, we can help you to get enrolled for a BA TOP course as long as you have British diploma level 5, and you fulfil all the admission criteria.
